Biomarker Discovery

Our differential view of biomarker discovery is based on our clinically-oriented focus.
The primary objective is to propose feasible and reproducible predictive signatures. We seek small-scale signatures, including elements selected on the basis of a solid rationale related to the targeted and/or molecular pharmacodynamics of the drugs/therapies subject of the study.

The main elements of our Biomarker Discovery are: To seek for rationally-based molecular/gene signatures based on the mechanism of action/cell pharmacogenomics of the study drug/therapy.
- To select small-scale models to warrant the clinical applicability of the proposed model.
- To identify minimally invasive techniques for testing thus focus in the clinical reality.
- To develop models feasible in paraffin-embedded material and in serum/plasma to facilitate the exploratory testing and the large-scale development of the models.
- To warrant the edition of the results in no more than eight working days.
- To propose signatures bearing a positive cost/benefit ratio.
