Translational Oncology Laboratory

Pangaea Biotech operates a fully staffed and operational 380 m2 state-of-the-art Laboratory of Translational Oncology. We have been the first pharmacogenetic laboratory in Spain to receive accreditation (details below). We have a team of 10 skilled researchers and technicians, providing an unprecedented maximum 8-day turnaround time for results on samples received.

The backbone of our R&D program relates to the EGFR and DNA repair pathways. We are also involved in angiogenesis and vascular targeted strategies. In 2010 alone, the Translational Oncology Laboratory conducted more than 5000 genetic tests. Additionally, our Pathology Group performed more than 2000 2nd -diagnostic opinions as well as pathological evaluations on tumor samples.
